Our Founder - Liam Mullany
Liam's healthcare journey began over 20 years ago after university when he joined the NHS at the University Hospital Coventry & Warwickshire.There, he worked closely with specialists daily, building a strong foundation in healthcare operations. After relocating to Australia, Liam transitioned into healthcare recruitment and now brings over 15 years of experience in medical recruitment both locally and internationally.
Liam has a deep understanding of credentialing requirements for doctors, particularly those coming from overseas, and is highly knowledgeable about the pathways and processes involved in transitioning to practice in Australia. His extensive background enables him to navigate the complexities of the healthcare system while addressing the unique needs of both healthcare professionals and organisations.
As Director of Recruitment at Mullaney Medical Recruitment, Liam is passionate about delivering exceptional service and upholding the company's core values of integrity, honesty, and professionalism. Whether you're a doctor embarking on a career in Australia or seeking your next opportunity, Liam is committed to supporting you every step of the way.
Outside of work, Liam is passionate about sports, particularly football (soccer), cricket and more recently, boxing. Staying fit and healthy is important to him. On weekends, you’ll often find him and his partner running after their four children at various sports, exploring parks, enjoying the local beaches and hinterland—or simply relaxing with a good coffee.
